How do I create a PostPilot account?

  1. Visit postpilot.social
  2. Click "Get Started" or "Sign Up"
  3. Enter your email and create a password
  4. Verify your email address

What are the different pricing plans?

Starter Plan - $9.99/month:

  • 6 social media accounts
  • 100 posts per month
  • 10 scheduled posts simultaneously
  • Basic analytics

Professional Plan - $19.99/month:

  • 16 social media accounts
  • 1,000 posts per month
  • 50 scheduled posts simultaneously
  • Advanced analytics

Creator Plan - $29.99/month:

  • Unlimited social media accounts
  • Unlimited posts per month
  • 200 scheduled posts simultaneously

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm the changes

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm your cancellation

Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Why can't I connect my social media account?

Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect credentials - Double-check your login information
  • Two-factor authentication - Complete 2FA on the platform first
  • Account restrictions - Some accounts may have restrictions
  • Platform outages - Check if the platform is experiencing issues
  • Permission issues - Ensure you grant all required permissions

Can I connect multiple accounts from the same platform?

Yes, you can connect multiple accounts from the same platform (e.g., multiple Twitter accounts).

How do I disconnect a social media account?

  1. Go to Accounts in your dashboard
  2. Find the account you want to disconnect
  3. Click the Disconnect button
  4. Confirm the disconnection

How do I create a post?

  1. Go to Posts > Create New Post
  2. Write your content in the composer
  3. Select the platforms where you want to publish
  4. Add media if desired
  5. Choose to post now or schedule for later
  6. Click Publish or Schedule

What's the character limit for posts?

Character limits vary by platform:

  • Twitter/X: 280 characters
  • LinkedIn: 3,000 characters
  • Instagram: 2,200 characters
  • TikTok: 300 characters
  • Facebook: 63,206 characters
  • Pinterest: 500 characters
  • YouTube: 5,000 characters
  • Mastodon: 500 characters
  • Bluesky: 300 characters

How far in advance can I schedule posts?

Scheduling limits vary by platform:

  • Twitter/X: 30 days
  • LinkedIn: 90 days
  • Instagram: 30 days
  • TikTok: 10 days
  • Facebook: 6 months
  • Pinterest: 30 days
  • YouTube: 30 days
  • Mastodon: 30 days
  • Bluesky: 30 days
  • Threads: 30 days

Can I edit a post after it's scheduled?

Yes, you can edit scheduled posts:

  1. Go to Posts > Scheduled
  2. Find the post you want to edit
  3. Click Edit
  4. Make your changes
  5. Save the updated post

What happens if a scheduled post fails to publish?

If a post fails to publish:

  1. You'll receive a notification
  2. The post will be marked as "Failed" in your dashboard
  3. You can retry publishing or edit the post
  4. Check the error message for troubleshooting steps

What file formats are supported for media uploads?

Images: JPG, PNG, GIF Videos: MP4, MOV File size limits: Varies by platform

How many images can I add to a post?

Yes, hashtags are supported on all platforms. PostPilot will automatically optimize hashtags for each platform.

What's the best time to post on social media?

Optimal posting times vary by platform and audience. PostPilot's AI analyzes your audience data to suggest the best times for your specific audience.

Analytics & Performance

How do I view my post analytics?

  1. Go to Analytics in your dashboard
  2. Select the date range you want to analyze
  3. Choose specific platforms or view all platforms
  4. Review your performance metrics

What metrics are available in analytics?

Available metrics include:

  • Engagement: Likes, comments, shares, saves
  • Reach: Number of unique users who saw your content
  • Impressions: Total number of times your content was displayed
  • Click-through rate: Percentage of users who clicked on your content
  • Audience demographics: Age, gender, location data

How often is analytics data updated?

Analytics data is updated every 24 hours. Some platforms may have delays in reporting data.

Can I export my analytics data?

Yes, you can export analytics data as CSV files. Professional and Creator plans also support PDF report generation.

Team Collaboration

How do I invite team members?

Creator Plan only:

  1. Go to Settings > Team Management
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the member's email address
  4. Select their role and permissions

What can team members do?

Team members can:

  • Create and schedule posts

Team members cannot:

  • Access billing information
  • Invite or remove other members
  • Change team settings

How many team members can I have?

The Creator plan allows up to 5 team members.
